The hotel was built in 1986/1994 and is run by Børre Henningsen and Kirsti Liland. The hotel owner's great uncle was Edvard Munch and his reproductions adorn the hotel.

We are not the biggest.....but we are cosy!
The hotel has 24 rooms, most of which are doubles. Eight of these rooms are equipped with their own mini kitchens. Naturally, all of the rooms have bathrooms with showers/baths. We also have four apartments.
Football fans will be interested to know that we have cable TV with free access to Canal +.
Reception can arrange wireless broadband Internet access.
The hotel's own restaurant - 'Restaurant Edvard' serves a good, traditional crofters' menu.
We work very closely with the other restaurants in town and will happily tailor an event to suit your wishes.
