The Rehlegg has been family-run for over 100 years - and you can feel it. It is a place to slow down, located in the middle of the mountains and an UNESCO biosphere region, the Berchtesgaden National Park right at the doorstep.
The Rehlegg shows the way: Even a 4-star superior hotel can be operated with the highest standards of sustainability. It is the first climate-positive hotel in Upper Bavaria. At the same time, it allows its guests a relaxing stay that meets the highest demands:
86 rooms and suites with mountain views and Hästens mattresses. The Swedish family business Hästens is said to be building the best beds in the world. Hästens uses only natural materials for its beds. They are sustainably produced and purchased under ethical conditions. The highest value is placed on quality as well as environmental and nature conservation.

An indoor pool and a year-round outdoor pool, both heated with solar thermal energy. A sauna world with Almwies'n SPA, using our own natural cosmetic products, produced according to strict ecological guidelines.
The culinary concept of the buffet and a la carte restaurant is based on high-quality products that come almost exclusively from the region and from smallholder farming.

A hotel's own electric car is available to the guest, as well as e-bikes for rent. An e-charging station with self-produced electricity is located on the property and all hotel rooms are cleaned chemical-free.
