The Olde Bell

One of the world's oldest coaching inns, it mixes centuries-old character with the warm, relaxed style created by designer Ilse Crawford. Spread across five buildings, the rooms are full of charm, combining original features with plenty of modern comfort. Life moves a little more slowly here. The Thames is only a short walk away, and the riverside paths are perfect for stretching your legs before dinner or wandering off for an afternoon by the water. The restaurant draws on produce from the inn's own kitchen garden, bringing fresh flavours to the menu throughout the year. Hurley makes a great base for exploring the Thames Valley, while Henley-on-Thames, Marlow and Cliveden are all within easy reach. Despite its countryside setting, you're only around 40 minutes from central London.
