Looking for a Richmond hotel that provides great value without compromising on the upgraded touches – you found us! The Best Western Plus Governor's Inn recently updated our public spaces featuring luxury laminate flooring that was also added to our guest rooms along with new platform beds, mattresses, and Keurig® coffee makers. We plan on additional upgrades to come to our unique brick turret designed hotel. Each morning we have a complimentary full hot breakfast that includes hot eggs, sausage, and waffles, just like at home, as well as other breakfast favorites. Enjoy our hot beverage station that allows you enjoy upgraded coffee options. We have additional amenities great for weekly corporate guests or families here for a long weekend that include a guest laundry room with coin operated machines, fitness room & outdoor seasonal pool. Need to have a meeting or event space? We have three spaces that can accommodate a variety of different gathering options. For those who play sports & attend tournaments, we are near Sportsplex & the Chesterfield Indoor Aquatic Center. You can experience events held at the Virginia Commonwealth University and University of Richmond that take place all year round and offer a little something for everybody. Don’t forget the Richmond International Raceway, known for hosting NASCAR®, is close by as well. For the history enthusiasts our area has Civil War Tours to specialty museums and expos as the history is rich near & around our Richmond hotel. We are minutes away from the Virginia State Capital, Monument Avenue, Canal Walk and Cary Street as well as Downtown Richmond. The Edgar Allen Poe Museum is a must-stop-and-see, along with numerous monuments of historical figures such as Robert E. Lee and Jefferson Davis. You can create your own historical journey and still have plenty of time left over for Dining and Shopping. We do require a $100 deposit for incidentals upon check-in including third party reservations. Our seasonal pool will be open starting Memorial Day.
